- Henry's echo-y room. Ben Pompidous and takes off the echo-y filter.
- Unfiltered Henry: talking about all the big game he's shot.
- Onyx hooves (does Henry mean oryx?).
- He can do the full stole + jewels on one hunt. The Hunt and Mining Experience (the most unethical holiday in the world).
- Henry needs to do a brain refiling.
- Ben went to a zoo that specialises in oryx (not a farm, despite the meat-heavy gift shop and the abattoir). Disappointing zoo animals: pygmy hippos (the Beans have talked about this before, like visiting a too-old uncle who met Jimmy White in '87).
- The Banter Black Hole – escape by having a new experience, a new event, but Ben has been to all the events, weddings, birthday parties that repeat previous ones.
- A Bean needs to become a flamenco dancer, but it's too close to guitars again.
- Banter as a box of Lego chunks.
- Henry at a friend's (Jimmy Carr's) roast dinner.
- Roast My Roast auditions: Henry roasts Billy Connolly / Mike roasts Daley Thompson, but the Gen Zs aren't going to like it.
- Ben asks Henry to put a good word in with Eamonn Holmes over at OwlFuckerzzz to be the RoastMaster, but Holmes is now deep into character (all food must be pelletised, he needs to see food from a height, bungee parabolas to grab the roast). Holmes is crying out to have a GoPro for a Holmes-eye view.
- Defining a roast for overseas listeners: historical, like a Tudor feast, 10% of the population will eat every weekend, regardless of the temperature outside, cruise ships need to be equipped to handle a roast.
- Ben finds making a roast stressful / Henry becomes focused (can even do a Christmas roast). From Henry's GoPro, there is serenity, but from the GoPro of anyone else, just a sweaty, swearing man. Bits of hand in the gravy. Too many hot trays and nowhere to put them down (on the floor?).
- The roast potatoes are the bellwether. The level of mess is horrific, but look at the potatoes!
- An oboe being used to hold a lemon inside the turkey. When the G note is heard, the turkey is ready.
- Order on the table in direct contrast to rubble in the kitchen.
- What do Americans have at Christmas? A huge burger?
- Not an episode! Having November (the time of roasts) off.
- Henry had an excellent roast pork with red cabbage that was lovely (spices). Slight pause before the potatoes are described as 'not exceptional'.
- Pub/restaurant roasts never as good because the chef's a drug addict, locked in the big fridge.
- Mike's November: in a state of deep sleep, so he'll eat fish skins ahead of time and head to south-east Dartmoor, then wake and eat a wild pony.
- Ben's November: big bolognese made on 1-Nov from the bolognese starter (alive since 1993). Napolean's own bolognese starter from Corsica, bought on eBay.
- Henry's November: catching up on theatre. Peston's 'Uncle Vanya' (with the daughter played by Nick Robinson). Jon Sopel's one-man 'Cats' is in Leicester.
- Roast My Roast (7:53)
- Roast My Roast with Eamonn Holmes (9:12)
- Joss on bed rest with a bollock infection has produced a Mission Impossible: Mike Oldfield version, sent from the heart of an orchitis fever.
- He's happy to hunt antelope or gemstones, he doesn't care.
- Have we reached a sort of podcast event horizon?
- A new take on old topics: it's Three Beans Reheated.
- If you've got an issue with the carrot batons, can you please refer to them by name?
- Are you roasting a dragonfly?
