- "Merry Month of May" song from Ben begins this non-episode and Mike confirms this is not an episode and neither will there be throughout May cos it's the fifth month (natural aversion to working on the fifth anything).
- Mike and Henry are going to the King's Coronation – Mike will be polishing the sceptre throughout the Coronation (his family dulls it afterwards).
- A civil war will ensue if someone gets the sceptre. PayPal is the one thing preventing civil war. There have been no civil wars in the era of stainless steel forks and other armable kitchen utensils – a fork race – Le Creuset pans and Smeg kettles.
- Ben will be travelling hand-luggage only to spread word of the new king – he bought a travel spork (worries that it will be taken off him at the airport as he was taken into another room because of razor blades in the past) – cut/prod/scoop – knspork/spnork/snpife. Mike will be emailing the airport to warn them Ben might eat the pilot and his yogurt.
- Henry worries that eating will be joyless with the knspork. Ben asks if he can take a penknife (pen is okay) – gnork (gun, knife and fork).
- Plans for May: Mike – reacquaint self with great works of literature / think deeply about the implications of AI on the arts ; Henry – practising for the podcast, tip of the effortberg, plugging and unplugging a headphone jack into a laptop.
- Patreon reminder: those eps are like sinking into a bath of lukewarm guff.
- The beans will return in summer (summer tropes: sun cream, shades, pineapple flavoured, samba podcasting, limbo, steel drums, cocktails, sandy cracks and volleyballs, soft-top Hyundais).
- They offer a taster of this month's Extra Beans (clip of New Forest chat including Mike's hog noises as the hogs are bundled into a car).
